Sunday Services

  • 8:30am - Holy Communion

    A traditional Service with Holy Communion each week. This friendly congregation follows the 1662 Book of Common Prayer with Clergy wearing robes. Hymns are accompanied by the Cathedral’s pipe organ - the first Sunday of the month a chamber choir leads the singing. Breakfast is served with tea and coffee after the Service.

  • 10:30am - Morning Church

    The 10.30am services is a family-friendly meeting. The Cathedral Choir sings most Sundays, the Cathedral Organ is played. Our Cathedral Kids Sunday School operates during school term time. if you arrive early, you’ll hear the Cathedral bellringers from 10am. We share the Lord’s Supper on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

    (For those of Chinese origin, we explain that the ministries are in English, but we provide a Chinese translation service of the sermon.)

  • 5:00pm - Evening Church

    This is a contemporary, informal service where the Cathedral band plays. Members of the congregation meet in Bible studies prior to the service.

Weekly Services

  • EVENSONG

    Choral Evensong is a traditional service based on the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. It features our world-famous choir of boys and men, together with a short sermon by the Dean or visiting preachers. It is held each Monday and Thursday night at 5:15pm during St Andrew's school term and lasts for approx. 45 minutes.

    (Evensong goes into recess each school holiday when our Boys Choir takes a well-earned rest.)

  • HEALING SERVICE

    The Healing services is held every Wednesday night at 6pm and includes:

    • Individual prayer for healing and anointing with oil

    • Singing

    • Bible reading

    • An address from the Bible, bringing into focus God's healing provision and promised blessings
